A Story of Military Sacrifice: The Barnums

Military families with a husband/wife, children, and/or parents make many sacrifices to keep America's freedoms and help establish peace throughout the world. This is just one story of HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS. My brother has been in Afghanistan serving with the US military for the past 9 months and has 3 more to go. A brief history about their situation: 3 days after my brother and his wife found out that they were expecting with their first child, he received deployment orders for 1 year; my brother missed the birth of this child, a daughter; saw her for 3 days after she was born; and then said goodbye to his wife and his newborn daughter. NINE months later, he gets to hold his daughter again during his 2 week break from deployment. Their story is not UNCOMMON for military families. Enjoy the love, excitement, and happiness in these pictures of my brother and his family as they are reunited again (temporarily).
